How to Apply Scholarship
Students who are applying for the first time for a scholarship (Fresh Students) must “Register” as a fresh applicant on the site by giving accurate and validated information as displayed on their documents in the “Student Registration Form.”
Parents or guardians of students who are under the age of 18 at the time of registration must complete the registration form.
Students, parents, and guardians should have the following documentation on hand before beginning the registration process:
- Student’s educational documents
- The student’s bank account number and the bank branch’s IFSC code
Parents can offer their own account data for pre-matric scholarship children who do not have their own bank account. However, a parent’s account number can only be used to apply for scholarships for up to two children.
- The student’s Aadhaar number
- If Aadhaar is not accessible, a bonafide student certificate from the Institute / School and a valid passport are required.
- Aadhaar Enrolment ID and a scanned copy of your bank account statement
- If the applicant’s domicile state is not the same as the Institute/School, a bonafide student certificate from the Institute/School is required.
The following are brief guidelines for completing the online Application Form (those indicated with a * are required fields):
|1. Date of Birth (DOB)*||Provide your date of birth as it appears on your educational credentials.|
|2. State of Domicile*||The state in which students have their permanent abode is referred to as their domicile state. Students must correctly provide their domicile state, as the “Application Id” assigned to them will be based on this information. This application ID will be used as the portal’s “Login Id” and for future reference. The student will not be permitted to modify his or her residence state once it has been assigned. If the student’s domicile state differs from the state where he or she is studying, the student must provide a Bonafide Certificate in the appropriate format.|
|3. Scholarship Category*||Scholarship schemes are separated into the major categories listed below (students must select the appropriate category based on the class/course they are enrolled in): 2.1 Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme: For students in grades one through ten. 2.2 Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme/Top Class Scholarship Scheme/Merit Cum Means Scholarship Scheme: For students in Class 11th, 12th, and above, including ITI, B.SC, B. Com., B. Tech., Medical/students studying top-level colleges such as IITs and IIMs/students doing Technical and Professional courses, and so on. (Attach a URL with details of several Ministries’ schemes.)|
|4. Name of Student*||Give your name as it appears on your educational certificates. Students seeking Post Matric, Top Class, and MCM scholarships should provide their names as they appear on their class 10th certificates. To verify that your name is correct in your Aadhaar card, pupils must provide an Aadhaar number.|
|5. Mobile Number*||Provide a valid and authorized mobile phone number, since all portal communications and one-time passwords will be transmitted to this phone number through SMS. Only one registration with one mobile number is permitted for the Post Matric, Top Class, and MCM scholarship schemes. (ii) For pre-matric scholarship schemes, parents’ cell numbers can be provided if kids do not have one. The parents’ mobile number can only be used to apply for scholarships for a maximum of two of their children.|
|6. Email Id||Provide a valid and validated email address, since all portal communications and one-time passwords will be delivered to this address.|
|7. Bank account details||Give the student’s active bank account number and the student’s bank branch’s IFSC code. The name of the bank will be automatically mentioned based on your IFSC code. If you don’t have a pen, write it down precisely as it appears on your bank passbook. Only one registration with a single bank account number is necessary for the Post Matric, Top Class, and MCM scholarship schemes. Children who do not have their own bank account number can use their parent’s account number for the pre-matric scholarship scheme. On the other hand, the parent’s account number can only be used for a maximum of two children.|
|8. Identification Details||Carefully choose and enter the information in this field. For identity details, you must choose one of the following methods: 7.1 Aadhaar Number: Students with an Aadhaar number must enter their 12-digit Aadhaar number as it appears on their Aadhaar card. The system will match the applicant’s personal identification details with the Aadhaar records once the registration form is submitted. With each Aadhaar number, only one registration is permitted. If a student’s many applications are discovered in the system at a later time, all of his or her applications are likely to be rejected.|
It should be noted that in fast track mode, your Aadhaar number can be utilized to credit scholarship funds to the bank account linked* to your Aadhaar number.
In all circumstances when a student does not have an Aadhaar number, he must submit a genuine certificate issued by his Institute/School in the appropriate format, together with his Aadhaar enrolment number and a scanned copy of the first page of his bank passbook (containing the photograph of the applicant)
