CIPET: CSTS – Hajipur was founded in 1994 to serve the demands of the plastics industry in Bihar and the surrounding areas. The Institute is located in the sacred land of Vaishali and is spread over a sprawling area of 5.65 acres with an Administrative building, Library, Boys Hostel, Girls Hostel, and ample green landscape for extracurricular activities. It is fully equipped with all the latest machines and equipment in the field of Tooling, Plastics processing, Testing and Quality Control for Plastics, Design & CAD / CAM center to meet the customer requirements.

The Centre’s facilities have been upgraded with the help of the World Bank and the OIDB. The Institute has the most up-to-date audiovisual equipment as well as computers with excellent CAD software. The testing laboratory is approved by the National Accreditation Board for Testing & Calibration Laboratories (NABL), Dept. of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, in accordance with ISO / IEC 17025:1999.
