Software Engineer

Locations:

• Bangalore

Qualifications Required:

• BTech with a minimum of 6 months of industry experience via Internship or Full Time Job as a Software Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Designing and Developing core Data Structure heavy Algorithms
• Exposing algorithms using APIs
• Working with RDBMS
• Learning and Adapting Fast in an early-stage start-up
• End-to-end responsibility of R&D, Designing, Development, Testing, and Release of products
• Working in a cross-domain team with immunologists, biochemists, and bioinformaticians
• Learning and Adapting Fast in an early-stage start-up

Technical Skills Required:

• Can work and communicate in a cross-domain team
• Strong Data Structures and Algorithms
• Hands-on experience in writing code in one or more programming languages (preferably Python, C/C++ and Bash)
• Hands-on experience with any one RDBMS
• Ability to explore new problem statements
• Open to learning and exploring new avenues
• Experience working as an intern or full-time in a company

Extra Skills Required (Good To Have)

• Prior professional experience in python, C/C++, and Bash
• Prior professional experience in Postgres
• Professional experience in building Web Applications, preferably in a startup

Research Software Engineer

Qualifications Required

• BTech with a minimum of 6 months of industry experience via Internship or Full-Time Job as a Research Software Engineer or Backend Software Developer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Exhaustive literature review of existing machine learning approaches
• Designing and implementing machine learning algorithms from scratch to solve unique problems
  • Please note: this is a software engineering position and not a data science/analytics opening
• Understanding data and refining feature set
• Working with RDBMS
• Learning and Adapting Fast in an early-stage start-up
• End-to-end responsibility of R&D, Designing, Development, Testing, and Release of products
• Working in a cross-domain team with immunologists, biochemists, and bioinformaticians

Must-Have:

• Can work and communicate in a cross-domain team
• Strong Software Engineering and Mathematical skills
• Hands-on experience in writing code in one or more programming languages (preferably Python and C/C++)
• Basic understanding of Linear Algebra
• Ability to explore new problem statements
• Open to learning and exploring new avenues
• Experience working as an intern or full-time in a company

Good to Have:

• Prior professional experience in building custom Machine Learning models from scratch
• Strong Data Structures and Algorithms
• Prior professional experience with any one RDBMS(preferably Postgres)
• Any experience in Data Mining
