Roles & Responsibilities
- As a Software Engineer at IBM India Systems Development Lab (IBM ISDL), you will have the chance to participate in all phases of product development (Design/Development, Test, and Support) across core Systems technologies, such as Operating Systems, Firmware, Systems Software, Storage Software, and Cloud Software.
- As a Software developer at ISDL, you will be responsible for the creation of IBM Systems products while interacting with development and product management teams, as well as end users from a variety of geographical locations.
- Throughout the product development life cycle, you would assess product requirements, decide the optimal design approach, implement/code the solution, and test. Additionally, one could work on the Validation and Support of IBM Systems products.
- You will be a part of dynamic, culture-driven, and technically proficient teams that are developing world-class products and deployment environments to provide our clients with an industry-leading user experience.

Required Skills
- Extensive knowledge of Systems Software Programming Skills (C, C++, Java, Python, GoLang, ReactJS, and Groovy).
- Solid understanding of Operating System principles (Unix/Linux internals), data structures, and algorithms.
- Red Hat OpenShift, Microservices Architecture, and Kubernetes/Dockers expertise.
- Strong teamwork in a global context requires effective communication abilities.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s in Computer Science Engineering or other relevant subjects
