About Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana (युवा को कुशल बनाना, देश को है आगे बढ़ाना)
Indian Railways invites eligible applicants with relevant skills and interest to apply online for the Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana (RKVY) Training Programme under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana. From May 12, 2022, eligible applicants can apply online at www.railkvy.indianrailways.gov.in. For the month of June 2022 training.
Under the Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana, the Ministry of Railways is organizing a short-term training program for youngsters across India at nominated Training Centres. AC Mechanic, Carpenter, CNSS (Communication Network & Surveillance System), Computer Basics, Concreting, Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation, Fitters, Instrument Mechanic (Electrical & Electronics), Machinist, Refrigeration & AC, Technician Mechatronics, Track laying, Welding, Bar Bending, and Basics of IT, S&T in Indian Railway.
Candidates will benefit from this training in both finding work and becoming self-employed.
A certificate will be provided after the successful completion of training.

- The Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojna is a skill development initiative run by the Ministry of Indian Railways and the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.

- Trainees will not be paid a stipend by the railway administration.
- Candidates will not be offered any reservations under this Scheme. Regardless of religion, caste, creed, or race, the training will be conducted.
- Each candidate will be permitted to get instruction in just one trade at a time. No candidate will be allowed to repeat courses in order to give other candidates a chance.
- Because this is a short-term course, 75 percent attendance is required to continue with the training and receive a certificate.

- The training will only be available during the day.
- Trainees should observe the organization’s standards to ensure the safety of jobs, tools, gauges, machines, equipment, and people. He or she should not engage in any behavior that puts his or her own or others’ safety in jeopardy. He/she should not engage in any conduct that jeopardizes his/her own or others’ safety, and he/she should not participate in any unethical activity. - During this training program, trainees will not cause any harm to railway property.
- The trainee will not be awarded any allowances such as daily allowances, conveyance allowances, or travel allowances.

- Candidates who receive training under the “Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojna” would not be eligible for employment on the railways.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age: Candidates must be at least 18 years old and not older than 35 years old as of the notice date.
- The candidate must have completed a high school diploma or equivalent from a state or federally approved institution.
- The candidate must be an Indian national.
- Applicants must be medically fit to participate in training. Candidates will be required to present a Fitness Certificate from a qualified MBBS doctor confirming that they are fit to train in an industrial environment and are free of communicable diseases in terms of vision, hearing, and mental health.
