About Account Technology Strategist(ATS) Internship – Microsoft Internship India
As the Innovation and DT Thought Leader, the ATS is responsible for designing the strategy and architecture to advance our public sector customers’ digitalization and innovation agendas. With a deep understanding of business, broad technical skills, and industry knowledge, ATS starts with our public sector customers’ Innovation/DT agenda, connects business/industry priorities to technology strategy, and develops value propositions that align with our customers’ organizational business strategies, leveraging Microsoft’s and its partner ecosystem’s rich portfolio.
The Springboard program is a 4-month Microsoft internship program that provides:
- Live and strategic business projects
- Ramp-up trainings to hone technical skills
- Project Guide, Mentor and Buddy to assist you during the project
- Opportunity to interview as a full-time employee at the end of the program

Roles & Responsibilities
Key areas of responsibility:
Digital Transformation & Innovation Strategy:
Understand the customer’s business goals and the PS industry trends, as well as Microsoft solution areas and partner solutions, to design the 3 Horizon plan to support the customer’s DT/Innovation agenda. Convert Microsoft customer ties into DT partnerships.
Technology Thought Leadership:
Reimagine technology’s role as a business and innovation partner to drive our public sector customers’ DT agendas, assist them in understanding the impact of emerging and strategic technologies, and inspire and influence them to make Microsoft technologies the primary enabler of business innovation.
Industry & Business Architecture:
Create a long-term strategy that connects our public sector customers’ business, technology, and industry needs to support their business and transformation strategy, based on the customer’s organization, business, technology, and industry understanding.
Technology Sales:
Orchestrate technology sales activities to drive the digital transformation vision and roadmap of our PS customers with Microsoft technologies. Plan and orchestrate the solution proposal and coordinate technology sales teams to provide the right solution to the customer
Account Leadership:
Change Agent internally and externally to inspire and ideate about possibilities new technologies provide to drive business strategy and priorities of our customers. Own and Strengthen the relations with C-level technology, innovation executives, and technology decision-makers.
Qualifications Required For Microsoft Internship India For Frehsers
- 2+ years of experience in digital transformation roles
- 4+ years of experience working with effective technical teams
- 4+ years of technical sales experience.
- Relevant industry expertise – areas such as Manufacturing would be beneficial to have
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or business administration related degree. Master’s degree preferred
- Additional training or education in business, sales, or marketing preferred
- Fluent level English required
