So we need to take a pledge now and helps our society to “Plastic Bag Free Society” or “Plastic Bags Free India”. On this International Pledge Day, We together need to take the pledge “Not to use Plastic Bags” or “Avoid Plastic Bags”.
Our environment is deeply affected due to plastic pollution because it takes very long to destroy. It is polluting our Environment and degrading the fertilization of our land. The goal of International Plastic Bag Free Day is to promote the use of eco-friendly alternatives to plastic bags, such as paper or cloth bags, and to eliminate single-use plastic bags. The day is commemorated to raise awareness about the major challenges of plastic pollution and the serious harm it causes to the natural ecosystem, which includes everything from land to sea life. Because plastic bags take 100-500 years to degrade, they pollute the environment when abandoned in landfills and represent a threat to marine animals if washed into oceans.
