The government has launched a new online website for people who want to re-teach or acquire new skills.
The site contains a list of free online courses aimed at people who want to learn new skills or who want to retrain. Unemployed people have the option to keep social benefits while studying.
The Right Course website states ‘Education is for everyone and there are many options for anyone who thinks of their next step in life, at any time in their lives. Whether you need to learn new skills, refresh your skills or find a new direction, there is a lesson for you. ‘
On the portal, you will receive free courses from a government-funded online training center, with the following training courses offered:
basic learning computer
college ‘courses are made available temporarily as additional support for those affected by the Covid-19 public health measures. Courses can benefit those who are already pursuing studies who would like to further their education, those who have recently lost their jobs or reduced their hours, and those who wish to pursue skills or refinement. ‘
The Skills Connect training program will also allow those who lost their jobs during the epidemic to:
