About this Government Training Programme

Northern Railway, the Jewel Set in the Crown of Indian Railways, has embarked on the mission to vanquish distances and create its own metaphor of existence. Formally established in the year 1952, it remains the largest zone in terms of route Kilometers, even after the re-organization of the Indian Railways into 16 zones. Northern Railway now comprises of 5 Divisions-Ambala, Delhi, Ferozpur, Lucknow, and Moradabad.

Northern Railways will train roughly 3,500 unemployed youngsters for three years under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) on behalf of Indian Railways beginning in September 2021.

Northern Railways’ spokesperson, Deepak Kumar, would coach 2,500 individuals, while 1,000 others will be tutored at various manufacturing facilities.

Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana, the individual must meet the following criteria:

Candidate’s age range is 18 to 35 years old.
Candidates must have a matriculation certificate at the very least.
To apply for the scheme, the candidate must have an Aadhaar card and a bank account.

Other Important Information:

1)Medical Fitness: Selected candidates will be required to submit a letter from a qualified MBBS doctor certifying that they are medically fit to participate in industrial training.

2)Selection Method: Candidates are chosen based on their matriculation grades.

3) Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be notified through phone or email at the phone numbers or email addresses provided in their applications. The candidate must present all original educational qualification credentials at the time of document verification. Photocopy of the same with self-attestation.
