About Cyber Security Internship

AICTE collaborated EduSkills has launched a Virtual Internship program on Cybersecurity, which is backed by Palo Alto Cybersecurity Academy, with the goal of creating an industry-ready workforce that will eventually become leaders in emerging technologies. It’s no surprise that cybersecurity experts are in high demand. In fact, there aren’t enough of them to go around; just to meet global market expectations, the number of available cybersecurity professionals would have to increase by a whopping 145 percent.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students currently pursuing BE, B.Tech, ME, M.Tech, MCA, Diploma, etc in any Engineering and Polytechnic Institutions which are members of EduSkills can participate in the program.
• Students from any branch and year are eligible to apply.
• Students must commit to a two-month period of service.

Roles & Responsibilities

a. Students must apply for this internship program through the AICTE Internship Portal.
b. The names of the selected students will be forwarded to the appropriate institute officials.
c. Students that are selected will be enrolled in the Palo Alto Networks Cybersecurity Academy Portal and granted access to the courses.
d. Students must finish the course in four weeks by completing online examinations.
e. Students who complete the online course satisfactorily will be assigned a project.
f. Students must finish the assignment in four weeks with the assistance of their professors and submit it in the format specified (to be shared later).
g. Throughout the project, students will participate in four days (8 hours) of mentoring sessions with industry experts. Students will participate in a one-day (2-hour) career enhancement seminar.
