Youth empowerment foundation Internship | YEF Internship
About the Program
Youth is the arrow of the future – Ifeanyi Erich Onuoha.
The foundation of youth empowerment is the organization that guides these arrows through their efforts and programs. Empowering young people to grow, learn and be a flashlight for the future is one of the biggest impact organizations it aims to achieve. YEF is a non-profit organization founded in June 2017 by Mr. Rambabu Sharma. Encouraged by his life journey, the founder and his team have laid a solid foundation for educating the underprivileged children of society which is why it closes the gap between them and the world. As described by the founder himself in his story, poverty and education are inextricably linked, because people living in poverty can drop out of school, so they can work leaving them without the literacy they need in their jobs. Education in all its forms is a key to ending the cycle of hunger. It increases food security, reduces malnutrition, improves the quality of life, and promotes gender equality. It teaches children what to expect and what to expect from adults and also shows adults the benefits of respecting their children’s rights. Through a variety of training programs and programs such as hammers, candle making, English learning, computer literacy, and training, the YEF provides a platform to help these children grow up for themselves and the community. Skills taught by YEF as an additional language, or other skill help these children to become independent and as a result, become a strong social pillar in all aspects. It also helps to develop self-esteem which adds to their mental development and mental health. Being able to look after themselves through their activities and independence leaves them with a spark that brings out the best in these children
